I work with weirdos

Seriously, they are all weird. Two of them are plotting to get me a new position in the company. One that doesn't even exist. They didn't ask my opinion. They just started campaigning with our boss.

Basically they are trying to get me to be an inside material handler for our department. All our raw materials are stored outside. We have to call the head material handler for outside when we want something. He then calls one of the guys on the forktrucks to bring the stuff to the door. It can take quite a while to get materials. Sometimes this leads to my coworkers struggling to keep busy while waiting because they didn't plan far enough ahead for what they would need. They want me to plan out what will be run and do all the material requests and keep things flowing. Well, the planning part is really my boss's job. So is calling in the big stuff that we will need. Usually it's the interim stuff that the guys end up waiting for because the big stuff is already done. I should mention that most of the guys hate calling in materials.

I already do more than what my actual job is. My job is supposed to just be cutting and running materials. Sign in, do my job, make labels and put shit away. Somehow I'm also in charge of making outside labels for half the crew. Not to mention being the one everyone goes to when they can't find something or don't know where to put something when they are done with it. Half the guys don't know how to look at their time cards or how to put in a vacation request. So I act the part of secretary. My boss is constantly handing me slips of paper with part numbers on them and asking me to look into "that". This means figuring out what we have on hand against what the system says we have and figuring out why they don't match. And in my little corner of the building, I keep an eye on inventory and request jobs to fill empty racks.  Not to mention that my boss tends to ask me to send emails for him or write up papers and stuff for him. When we transitioned to our new system last year, I spent months working on inventory and helping with paperwork in the office. I spent months not doing anything to do with my regular job and spending my time helping keep the system cleared up and inventory straight. Oh and when the boss is gone, I do his job. The only thing I don't normally do is approve timecards, although I do know how to do it.

Part of me wants to transition to more of a support position. One where I'm doing mostly paperwork and stuff and not actually lifting material. I kind of got used to it last year. The other part is not super happy about the weight I gained from sitting on my ass for 7 months. heh I'm having more health issues lately and my pain levels are not good. The idea of not straining myself is a good one. Not that my job is all that horribly physically demanding. Just the whole being on my feet for 10 hours and repeatedly lifting shit and moving it around. I'm having more trouble with my stupid ankle lately. I am so not hip to the whole being able to feel the damn thing more than usual. You would think that 20 plus years would be too long for nerve damage to start reversing.

Mostly I'm just fucking tired all the time. And my head hurts. I probably need to have my eyes checked. I'm sure that has something to do with it.

Not sure what the hell the point of this rant was.

yawn

Holy crap it felt like this weekend lasted a month. It was nice not having the boss there to micromanage me but damn if the other guys don't need someone watching them. Even with all that went down we still got a bunch of stuff done. Hopefully it will be enough to keep the boss happy.

I didn't do any crafting this weekend. I've been too damn tired. I did find a couple sets of dpns and I'll check tomorrow to see if they are the same size as I'm doing the Tomten in. I sure hope so cause I don't want to go to Hobby Lobby or Michaels any time soon.

I've also discovered that I really shouldn't drink Mt. Dew after noon or so. I was as jittery as all hell this afternoon because I drank half a bottle at 4 o'clock break. And omg what a crash when I got home. I feel dead as all hell. I only drink that crap at work when I am really fighting to stay awake. I can't stand the taste of it but it's better than falling asleep on my feet.

Time to go play with the monkey.

Yawn

I had another bad night last night. I actually hurt my throat during the mess. Everything swelled up inside and it felt like I was choking. I'm starting to think the tummy troubles and lack of sleep are all in my head. Someday I'm going to make a therapist very very rich when he/she writes a book about my nutso self. lmao I think I'm going to dig out my sleeping pills and start taking them at about 8pm and forcing myself to go to bed no later than 10pm.

I worked at the kitchen today. I only went in an extra half hour more than usual but I swear it feels like I worked 10 hours. I did manage to get 5 hours of sleep last night so that is only part of it. I only actually washed dishes for maybe an hour and a half. The rest of the time I was helping in the kitchen. Spraying off the dishes was not fun since the food kept making me want to upchuck. hehe With the swelling in my throat I already was feeling like I was half ready to puke. Add in peoples mushed up messy left overs.

I got my partner's name for secret Santa at work today. Let's just say I'm not terribly fond of the woman that I got. I have no clue what to buy her but I do know, I'm not making her shit. I have no clue what to put up on the list for suggestions for myself. I know I'm going to put down that I don't want jewelry of any kind. I can't wear pierced earrings anymore. The holes have closed up on my left ear and trying to put in an earring is very painful. Think I'll put down anything to do with wolves or sci-fi books. Not going to ask for a gift certificate to a craft store cause frankly Hobby Lobby and Michael's just don't do it for me. Although I do like the bead section at Michael's. I need to visit Beads and Beyond again soon though. hehe

Also got some good news from Mom today. She is going to watch Nick tomorrow night so I can attend the fiber guild meeting. :O) She is going to come over here. Which sort of sucks cause it means I have to clean all day tomorrow. hehe But I actually get to get out of the house on my own and spend time with other adults that love fibre as much as I do. I'm going to take a long a couple of my finished shawls. I'll take along the Halloween shawl and the Galveston shawl to work on. I'm hoping to have the first clue of the Halloween shawl done before I go tomorrow and I'll post some pictures. I'm kind of nervous about going to the meeting but I'm really looking forward to it. Hopefully I won't get some pushy woman telling me I knit all wrong and have her taking my needles away to show me how wrong I am. hehe I know I don't knit in the conventional way, but I had to learn from a cd-rom. Plus the cd showed the woman knitting with the yarn in her right hand and until last year I just couldn't get the hang of that. I hold the yarn in my left hand the way I do for crocheting.

Ok, I'm gonna go browse on Ravelry some. See if I can't find another long thread I can get lost again in. I keep finding big fights that just suck me in. I've only posted a couple times and so far no one has responded to me, but I don't mind. It's sort of how I roll on Yahoo groups too. hehe I'm Froddopsycho on there btw. Just in case anyone was wondering and wants to friend me. :OP

I had planned to take pictures tomorrow. I was going to clean house too. I was even going to take a nap for awhile.

But instead I get to go to work!!! I am soooooo thrilled.

I'm also a damn sucker. lmao

Got a call from the boss. Turns out they had a 3 hour window with no work study to do dishes tomorrow. So I get to go in. Someday I will learn how to say no. sob sob

Holy crap Batman

I've got myself a part time job!!

Interview took all of about 2 minutes. lmao

I'll be working about 4 hours a day washing dishes at the school where my mom works in the cafeteria. She has said for years that she didn't want me working there. hehe The last time my dad mentioned it, I do believe her exact words were: "I love you but heeeellllllllllllllllllllllllllll no!"

She actually is the one that told me to go talk to her boss. I guess they have been swamped. They don't have any workstudy kids helping out and they are a person short. The pay isn't great, but oh well. It's close enough that I could walk to work if I really wanted to. But I went to that school for 2 years and I only walked twice. lol

I start tomorrow morning, so I need to get my butt in gear. I had saved up my shopping and laundry to be done tomorrow. Ummmm yeah not so much now. I desperately need to go buy myself some new jeans for work. I swear all of my jeans now have holes in them in spots that just look real bad. LOL

Steppin my way closer to getting my bigger apartment. :O)

PS Thanks to everyone that responded to my outburst the other day. Just writing it down really helped.

PPS The new shawl is Zephyr in Apricot. I love this yarn. hehe

Monday??

Oh thank the good lord it isn't the weekend any more. Man that sounds insane. HA!

I got to sleep in this morning. Slept until my head started to hurt. Finally drug myself out of bed at 6am. Yes, that is sick! I slept in a hour and a half and I was still up at SIX A freaking M.

But man is my butt dragging. Since about 11 I've been real drowsy. Tried to take a nap but some furry lil beast kept jumping on me and calling for his mom. After about a half hour I was near tears and got back out of bed. I am not a happy camper. I still want a nap.

The pinkie is doing a lil better. It is still being a little lazy but I don't have to work too hard to hit the right keys. The thumb is still sore but I've been able to figure out how to type without yelling ouch every time I hit the space bar. LOL The thing is, I broke my thumb nail sometime last week. No biggy. I used a nail file to smooth it out and it didn't bother me to much that it wasn't straight. Well, sometime before Saturday, my nail kind of pulled away from the skin on the side. By Saturday night it was very painful. I put peroxide on it and antibacterial stuff. Wore a bandaid to keep the metal gunk out of it at work yesterday. The area along the side of the nail is very pink and sore though. Hopefully, it will settle down.

Haven't knitted yet today. I'm just too tired and the hands are sore. I don't want to push it. Tried doing a little gaming, but my brain won't focus. hehe Too bad I don't have any nyquil I can drug the kid with. hehe Just kidding, I would drink it myself and snooze away unawares of his bugging the shit out of me. hehehe

Holy FSM Batman!!!!

I am soooooo tired and sooooooo sore it ain't funny.

This chicky is not used to standing for 12 hours. I'm gonna go soak my tootsies and probably hit the sack by 9. lol

The funkiest thing is the way my left hand is twitching. When I hold my hand flat, my index finger and pinky pulse outward. My palm was pulsing like mad earlier. Was quite disturbing. So long as my hand is moving, my fingers do as they are told. If I hold my hand flat and still, my fingers do the mombo. I think it is because I pinched a nerve in my hand from leaning on it. I'm gonna work on not leaning on my hand, but man my feet are not wanting me to put all my weight on them.

Ok, time to soak da feat. Please cross yer fingers that I survive tomorrow. Not to mention Sunday. lol

News

Well it would seem that as of this afternoon, I will be gainfully employed once more.

I'm excited, but worried about the long hours. I'm going to have to start getting ready by going to bed early. No more staying up until 1am yapping with Ally and Sue. lol I'll have to be getting up at like 5am on the weekends from now on. The job starts at 6am and I have to drop the kid off at my folk's house first. I won't be getting off until 6:30pm. It's going to make for a looooong day. But the pay is good and I hear the benifits are great. In fact Mom told me that if I make my 90 days and am around at Christmas time, I'll get a good sized bonus. That would be so sweet.

Anyways, I'm going to go get the kid cleaned up and get ready. I've got to go fill out paperwork and sign away my life. LOL

So far so good

I made it to the interview ok this morning. No thanks to the wacked out weather in Iowa. When I woke this morning at the ungodly hour of 6am, it was storming outside. By the time we left it was a torrential downpour. And I had to stop for gas. And the card reader at the pump wouldn't read my card. lol

I dropped the kid at my folk's house and made it to the store with 10 mins to spare. I sat in the car for about 5 mins listening to the radio and the rain finally stopped. I ended up having to wait 10 mins inside. Thankfully they had a radio playing. Unfortunately it was country music. Not my favorite.

I don't think I did too bad, but I totally loath interviews. They ask questions that frankly I find hard to answer. I was granted a second interview tomorrow morning with the lady that does the training. And I did come up with an answer to one of the questions that I stumbled on. If it comes up again, I'll mention what I came up with. The question was about coming up with something you did for an employer that saved money or time for them. Turns out I did actually do something like that last year, but I'm a lil slow and didn't think of it til later.

It was a simple idea but it did get a thank you out of the supervisor. I was working in a bindery. I worked on a shrink wrap machine where different books or books with inserts and cds are shrink wrapped and labeled prior to shipping. Mostly for schools and for college bookstores. Anyways, they purchased this super expensive new machine where the books are placed on a short roller line that feeds to the front of the machine. A person stands there and picks up the books and puts them on the conveyor system to go into the machine to be wrapped. Well, some of the books are soft cover or spiral bound. They didn't roll down the rollers evenly and many times they fell in between the rollers. This caused the machine to be shut down because there were no books in reach to put on the conveyor.

Anyone that has been in a bindery knows that the different sections of a book are held together with pieces of wood on each end and then a tie is put around them. There was always a piles of these wood pieces, which are squares of ply-wood, near the shrink wrap machine. I told the machine operator that I didn't care if she liked the idea or not, I was going to put the books on top of the wood and put the wood on the rollers. The wood pieces fit perfectly on the rollers and didn't tip in between them. So, no matter how large the books are that are put on them or how flimsy they are, they rolled right now the line with no problem. And I know for a fact that the company still uses them.

Not brain surgery by any means. But it had been driving the operator and the mechanics crazy trying to adjust the roller system so that the books wouldn't fall between the rollers. I suppose that if I hadn't of been a temporary employee, I might have gotten a bonus of some sort. In actuality, I got let go a couple weeks later because of a very very annoying person that finally got me to yell at her. Oh well.

But anyways, I have another interview tomorrow. They are really looking for people that want to work the weekends. That is really the shift that I want because I won't really have to pay for day care and I'll only have to work 3 days a week.

Now, I'm off to work on the shawls. I really need to kick it in the ass cause I am way behind the rest of the group in both of them.

wheeeeee!!

I've got a job interview tomorrow morning. Cross your fingers for me. I sooooo need some work. And the cool thing is that it is a weekend job. Three 12 hour days and you get paid a full 40hrs. I think I can deal with that. hehe

More Progress

Finally got the 4th chart done on the Galveston mystery shawl. It really is a fast knit, I'm just a lil slow. hehe

The color is pretty close on this picture. It is about 22 inches across at this point.

Here is the straight section. I sooo love this stitch pattern. I've got some more laceweight yarn from the same store, and I think I might make a sweater with this pattern on it somewhere. The other yarn is a yellow/orange combo.

And here is the corner sections that represents the waves. This is the part that keeps getting bigger and bigger and bigger. lol 7 repeats in the next chart I think.

My skein is starting to look a little deflated. I have a couple more skeins in the stash. I'll ball them up as needed.

I just barely survived the job yesterday. OMG do my legs hurt now. The apartment was on the second floor of an old brick storefront. I swear the stairs were nearly straight up. I am NOT a small person and by the end of the day, I just soo did not want to climb those stairs. Heck I took my last break upstairs sitting on a ladder.

We were supposed to have 4 people cleaning, but 2 didn't show. I spent the first part of the day cleaning up after the other gal. She couldn't clean a window to save her life. And forget getting paint off of the trim. We were just cleaning up after a remodel, so no smoke damage. Just lots and lots of dust. The old guy that used to live there must have been a smoker because the windows were brown with tar.

And now, I'm going to finish reading my mail and head to bed. I'm still pooped. hehe

Better pictures

Finally got some better pictures of the mystery shawl. You would think with all the sheets I own that I would have had a white one somewhere. Um no. They all had flowers or designs on them.

Well, no more. Mom gave me a set of her sheets that are an off white, almost cream color.

So now we got better pictures!!

Some of the center of the shawl. The other part of the center is still bunched up on the needles.
A good look at the border area.
A close up of the edging. The original chart was for only one of the zig zags going along. I added 6 stitches to add another zig to the zag. Cause it's hip hop. Ok, I just scared myself. lol
And here is the progress on the edge at this point. I think there are 14 repeats now. I'm thinking at least another 10 or so before the bottom point. I never did try the math to see how many repeats there was supposed to be.

I guess we shall see.

Big shocker. I'm working tomorrow. Just one day working for the place that cleans up after fires. Seems that someone had an oops in their apartment. Cross your fingers that I don't fall asleep at lunch time. hehehe

I am a ditz

I finished off the hat and booties for my cousin's baby last night. I tried to put the ribbon in them like my mom wanted. It just didn't work. The ribbon was just to wide. I would show them to you, but ya see, I didn't take any pictures. Cause, well, I'm a ditz. hehe

Mom and I had a nice time at the shower. We both won candles playing bingo. Sara made out big time. She is not going to have to buy the baby any clothes for at least the first year. hehe Everyone loved the hat and booties. Turns out one of my other cousins just taught herself how to knit, so I got to talk yarn with someone. Mom forbade me to knit during the baby shower though. She is mean that way. hehe

I'm about half a skein away from finishing the blue alpaca scarf. Well, I've got about half of the second skein left anyway. I'm not liking the length so far. I may have to start a 3rd one. I really just like long scarves. Right now, this is my main knitting. I really want to get some of my UFOs finished. I have way too many projects going right now.

I'm also working on the blue and white striped sweater for Nick. I ripped out the original and I've got about 3 inches of sleeve done so far. This is after ripping the same amount out once. My gauge was way off and it was skin tight. Not good. So far, the new sleeve is working much better. I'm really liking the yarn, Bernat Softee Baby. I don't care that it is 100% acrylic. This is some soft soft yarn. If the gauge wasn't so small, I would make myself a sweater out of it too.

I start the patient aid job tomorrow. Cross your fingers that it is just boring and not anything too difficult. Also cross your fingers that there is school tomorrow. lol The had half a day on Wednesday and then the rest of the week off because of the weather. Talk about cabin fever here folks. It is supposed to be nice this next week though.

Well, it's time to hit the sack. I got up way too damn early today. I just couldn't sleep for nothing last night. Hopefully, I'll be comatose 5 minutes after my head hits the pillow.

Bout time

The laundry job is finally done!! I'm going to miss the ladies that I was working with, but I will NOT miss the job itself. The job was hell on my back.

Turns out I may not have to miss a few of the ladies too much. I've got a line on a part time job at the medical facility that is attached to the hospital. It is 2 or 3 nine hour days a week helping patients sign in and get to their appointments. I've got to call the lady at the temp agency and see about doing orientation. Hopefully, if I do get the job, I'll be able to have lunch with a couple of the ladies that I really got along with. :O)

In knitting news, I've started a baby hat in Caron Sayelle in Spring Blossoms Ombre (0391). A distant cousin is having a baby and they are pretty sure they are having a girl. The mom's favorite color is purple, so hopefully she will like the hat. I want to make a pair of booties too, but I'm not sure if I have a pattern that uses worsted weight yarn. I may just wing it with a toe up generic sock. Cross your fingers that the little dear will be able to wear them before she is 2 years old. hehe

I got out the nifty knitter and I'm working on a hat for myself. I've got a huge head, so I'm using the burgundy loom and 2 strands of white acrylic. It's left over yarn from Nick's sweater that I got off of eBay. Hopefully it will fit. If not, then Nick will just have another hat to wear. If it doesn't fit him, I'll just have to save it for donation at some point or another.

I still haven't gotten my other hard drive all set up. I can't seem to get it to see my modem. It works just fine on this hard drive tyvm. heh I think I'll reformat it again since I haven't actually installed much of anything on there yet. I finally got rid of the viruses on this darn drive, so I think I'll just use this one for my craft stuff. I'll move all the graphics programs and such onto the larger hard drive. If I can't get the internet working, I'll see if I can't find a 40gb or less external hard drive that I can transfer files on.

Once again my mail at Yahoo is locked up. I can't open anything received since yesterday afternoon. Why is it that this only happens on the account I pay for?? I've got a couple free accounts that I've never had a problem with. If my isp account would actually download with any sort of speed, I would go back to having this account be a free one. But unfortunately, my isp mail is twice as slow to download as my Yahoo account. sigh I swear I need to get out of this one horse town and get a cable connection. heh

Ok, I'm off to work on my hats.

One more day???

HA!!!

I suppose I should be flattered that I'm in such demand. Somehow, it doesn't make me all warm and fuzzy. Seriously, I think she just doesn't want to train someone for just one week of work.

The good news is that I won't be going in until 8:30. The bad news is that I'll be working until at least 3:30. I'm glad I'll have more time with the ladies at work. I do really like several of them.

Just a taste of the chill here in Iowa.

The neighbor lady finally decided to shovel part of her side of the driveway. I say part, because there is still a large portion full of snow near our garage doors. Something is better than nothing.

No new knitting pictures. I just haven't added much length to the scarf and I haven't worked on anything else. I do need to make a baby hat and some booties for a cousin. Her favorite color is purple and so far they are pretty sure they are having a girl. No sight of a winkie in any of the ultrasounds. I've got some variegated Caron Sayelle in a purple and cream color.

Nothing else of interest to report. Hopefully this weekend I'll be rebuilding my computer and I really need to get some housework done. Mom will be bringing the kid home after school all this week and as the house is now, she would freakin kill me. She is a total neatnik. I am not. hehe

Ok, I'm off to watch the news and eat a little dinner.

2 days

2 more stinking days. Then it is freedom!!!!

Finally got the whole kid getting to school problem. Not before I had a total freak out.

Turns out my mom didn't actually get permission to take the kid to school each morning.

I found this out at 5:30 this morning while driving to work. grrrr

Turns out Dad is working the overnight shift and will be home before Mom has to leave for work. So, the kid is spending the night at my folks house. Dad will be taking the kid to school.

I have no clue what I'll be doing next week. I'm actually hoping for a few days off. I need to recover from all this 4am shit.

I'm gonna miss the gals that I've been working with. I intend to give at least one of them my email address. I'm trying to infect her with the fiber love. hehehe She knows how to crochet and has knit in the past. I gave her two skeins of silver fun fur shit to make a scarf with along with a scarf that I knit up for my sister in law but never gave her. I've been trying to show her again how to cast on. She has a baby blanket she wants to get finished for a friend of hers first though.

Susie just had a contest on her blog. I jokingly asked if that was how people got all the comments, running contests. She told me I should run a contest on here. lol It might happen. This is post 291. Maybe I'll give something away when I hit 300 posts. I'm sure any comments I might actually get would be from someone who's blog I read since only about 5 people actually read my blather. lol All I know, is that whoever does win better like sock yarn. I've got more sock yarn than I could ever knit up. hehehehe

Anyways, it's time to hit the sack. Might leave the tv on so I can watch LOST. Love that show.

Night, night.

Excuse me while I cry

Life is trying to kick my ass.

For starters, it is freaking freezing here in Iowa. -10 before you add in the windchill. They delayed school 2 hours today and it looks like it will be delayed 2 hours again tomorrow.

The babysitter's car has died. She snuck the kid onto the school bus this morning, but we have no clue if they will let him ride the rest of the week. Mom has to be to work by 7:30, so she can't take him to school. Soooooo if they won't let him ride the bus, I have to say see ya to the job I've got right now. Well that is unless they don't mind me coming in at 8:30. Yeah right!!

Speaking of cars, my blower motor is going out. About 70% of the time, I have no heat in the car. Did I mention that it is -10 here??? bbbbbbbrrrrrrrrrrrrrr I really need to call my lil bro and find out if he is able to replace it for me. I would rather give him some money than a garage that will take me for all they can get.

To top it off, Nick just called me into the living room. There is no picture on the tv. There is sound, but no picture. uuunnnnnggggghhhhhhhhh It's about 7 years old. The tv in Nick's room is about 15 yrs old and still works just fine. I do believe his tv is gonna be going into the living room for awhile.

Cross your fingers that the kid can get to school tomorrow. So long as he can get to school, I can work the rest of the week. Now, I'm gonna go take a shower so the kid won't hear me throwing a hissy fit. sigh

well crud

Turns out the laundry job isn't done. The boss asked me to come back next week. The kid is not happy with me. I promised him this morning that he wouldn't have to get up so early any more.

Whooops!

The other temps are not coming back. I'm the lucky one. That is because they trained me on a bunch of the jobs there. They gave up on trying to train the guys on how to do anything. Talk about some slow pokes. Neither one could find his own ass with a map and a flashlight.

It's also looking like the one chick that I can't stand at the laundry might just get her ornery ass fired. She has been getting yelled at a whole lot the last week. When I left today she was in the office again getting her ass chewed out. bwaaahhhaahhhhaaahhhhaaaaa Who knows, maybe they will offer me her job since they have me more than half trained to do it. hehe

Nothing much new in the knitting news. I finally spliced on a second skein of the blue alpaca and added a few inches to the blue scarf before taking my usual nap during the news. lol I'm also seriously thinking about making myself a pair of gloves. I'm not thinking about something real thick, maybe just something to wear under my leather work gloves that I wear for driving. I've got some rainbow Hot Sox sock yarn that I'm putzing with. I had half a sock done in it and I ripped it out last night. I know I would never ever wear the rainbow socks. hehe

Out of curiosity, do any of y'all have a paid Yahoo email account? It seems like every 4 months or so I'm unable to open new emails for about 4 or 5 days. Doesn't matter if I restart my computer and clear out the temp files. Doesn't matter if I use a different browser. I can open up the new spam mail but not my regular mail. Pisses me off. Plus, I have other free accounts with Yahoo and I can read the mail just fine. It's just the paid account that is fubar. sigh

Oh well, time to hit the sheets. Need to hit the stores tomorrow. Found out I've got almost $300 on my food stamps card that is about to expire. I had no clue at all that it was on there. I haven't gotten any food stamps in a year. Gonna stock up on spaghetti o's and chicken nuggets for the kid. heh

good news ... bad news

Ok, so the good news is kinda bad too but I think the good outweighs the bad. The laundry job is done tomorrow. :O) Yes, I'll be out of a job, but I also won't have to be getting up at 4 in the freaking morning.

Nick has NOT been dealing well with being woke up at quarter after 5 every day. Each morning this week he has complained about still being tired when I get him dressed. He has also been acting up at school. Not getting his work done. Sticking his tongue out at his teacher. Still trying to kill himself. hehe He came in from playing yesterday with a freaking fat lip!! I swear I can't take him out in public for fear the cops will question me about abusing him. I don't even spank the boy.

He isn't the only complete klutz in the house either. I've got the cuts and bruises to prove it. :P

When I went to get out of bed this morning, I completely lost my balance. I wasn't dizzy or anything but I didn't even make it standing straight up before I fell over. I've got a large scrap/cut on my left shoulder from hitting my small dresser. I also pulled a muscle in my back. I didn't realize until later that I bruised my hand up too. As if my left hand isn't usually painful enough without adding a bruise into the mix.

Plus, I'm getting a damn cold. sigh I keep saying it is some sort of sinus deal. I'm all stuffed up and my sinuses are killing me. I've had a huge headache all day. So either I have a sinus infection, or a cold. Not sure which one is worse. heh

I was hoping to get my other hard drive back this weekend. My brother is saying I'll get it next weekend. :O( The one I'm using has viruses on it and I can't seem to get rid of them. Not all of my programs will work. I was able to reinstall some of them, but not all will work. It's just drivin me bonkers.

Anyways, I figure I'm just going to enjoy having a few days off of work. Hopefully the temp agency will have me back to work sometime next week, but frankly at the moment, I wouldn't care if I had a week off and could sleep in until 7am. hehehe
